“Speak Out!”
Create
change through the arts!
Power Forum The Power Forum of the Power Generation Conference 2009 will ceremoniously anoint the next civic and cultural leaders of our community and illustrate, in no uncertain terms, the power of the Power Generation (formerly known as the Hip Hop Generation). We will hear a redefinition of our generation and who we are positioned to become over the next decade in economic, political, social, artistic and spiritual terms.
The Civil Rights Generation will speak to our shared legacy, our noble future, and the vision of change to be achieved by the Power Generation; the Power Generation will pay tribute to those who have forged the path of opportunity and speak of our innovative future; while performances will illustrate the power of the arts and entertainment to inspire social change.
